1. Information We Collect

When you use Tuqlas, we may collect: account information (name, email) provided during registration via our authentication provider; chatbot configuration data (system prompts, appearance settings, knowledge files you upload); usage data (message counts, session activity) for analytics and plan enforcement; and standard technical data (IP address, browser type, device info) collected automatically through server logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and operate the Service, including processing chatbot conversations and delivering responses; enforce plan limits and billing; improve the platform's reliability, performance, and features; communicate with you about your account, service updates, and new features; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Knowledge Files & Chatbot Data

Files you upload (knowledge base documents) are processed server-side to provide context-aware chatbot responses. This content is used solely to power your chatbots and is not shared with other users, sold, or used for purposes outside of delivering the Service. You may delete your knowledge files at any time.

4. Chat Messages

Messages exchanged between end users and your chatbots are stored to provide analytics and session history within your dashboard. These messages are associated with your chatbot and account — not with the identity of the end user visiting your website, unless you configure your chatbot to collect such information.

5. Third-Party Services

Tuqlas integrates with third-party services to operate the platform, including: authentication providers for account management; payment processors for billing; AI model providers for generating chatbot responses; and hosting and infrastructure providers. These services process data only as necessary to provide their respective functions and are subject to their own privacy policies.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including: encrypting sensitive credentials (such as API keys) at rest; using HTTPS for all data in transit; scoping embed keys so they grant chat access only — never configuration or account access; and restricting internal access to production data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to following industry best practices.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, your chatbots, knowledge files, and message history will be permanently removed after a reasonable retention period. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and export your data in a portable format. 9. Cookies & Tracking

Tuqlas uses essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. The embeddable chat widget does not set cookies on your visitors' browsers.

10. Children's Privacy

Tuqlas is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
